{Promise Me}

Pen n' Paper Flowers has become one of my favorite blogs lately. Jessica always has so many fun posts and ideas, and her new "Promise Me" list is one that I immediately jumped on participating in. One of my goals this year is to be more creative and my Promise Me list is going to help stay on track to do just that! I'm going to finish my list tonight, and can't wait to start on this year long journey tomorrow. I think I may even share some of the things on my list here on the blog so I can be held accountable for them =)

Head on over to Pen n' Paper Flowers to get your free printable list!

Love Day Count Down

Paige over at Paiges of Style has a fun printable countdown for Valentine's Day. What a fun way to show your husband or significant other what you love about them. It would also be a fun idea to put Valentine's Day activities in each envelope to do with your kids. What will you do with your countdown?

'Par-Tee' Time!

One of my best friends threw a golf themed party for her little 1 year old G! Look at the cute invitation she designed herself!

Perfectly fitting cake made by Chelsey's sister... love the argyle around the side!

The golf balls were made from a candy mold out of white chocolate

 Griffin's aunt made him this custom argyle shirt. I love when the birthday kid matches the party!

 I told you I'm a sucker for the 1 year picture time lines!

And who doesn't love birthday cake smashed all over!
 Thanks Chels for sharing your party with us!

Sweet Shoppe Link

I was more than excited this morning when Shelley from How Does She? told me she was going to put my Sweet Shoppe party link on her twin's party post!! She is a party planning extraordinaire in my eyes so for her to send her reader my way just made me giddy!! Thank you Shelley!!

{Little Monster 1st Birthday}

I am in love with this darling 1st birthday party thrown by my friend Kelsey. They call her son their "little monster", so it was only fitting that she threw a monster party for his birthday!

The Details:

One of my favorite things from this party are the hangings on the wall. When I asked Kelsey how she did them I was surprised at what a great idea they were. She used pictures that were already hanging in those same spots, wrapped them in paper, and used her Cricut to make the details. What a thrifty way to add such significant details.

Jars filled with candy as decoration doubled as favors once the party was over

Tissue paper pom-poms all over!

Time line banners are my favorites for a 1st birthday party. It's so fun to see how much they change over that first year.

Kelsey made "monster smiles" for the guests to pose with in the photo booth. Don't you just love the balloons in the bottom of the jar? It's the little details that make a party stand out!

And look at the cute birthday boy loving his cake!
Thank you Kelsey for sharing your party with us!

{Fondue: Cupcake Style}

Amanda at Bake It Pretty has a great article on Pint Size Social for Cupcake Fondue. How fun is this idea? I think it would be so fun for a girl's birthday party or any shower. Having sprinkles with the party colors would help tie it all in!

Fill a fondue pot with your favorite frosting recipe. Find a great recipe on Pint Size Social

{FREE Valentine's Day Printable}

"Keep Calm" signs are all the rage right now, and I love how they are a simple reminder to not stress. In a world where everyone is running a million miles a minuet the simple phrase is much needed. Valentines day is one of my favorite holidays, an extra special day to express our love to those most important in our lives. I made this Keep Calm Valentine's Day sign for anyone who wants to print it out! I was just thinking it would also be great printed out in a master bedroom all year round, so if you want it in a different color just e-mail me and I can do it for you!

{Sweet Shoppe 1st Birthday}

It had been a while since I had a reason to plan a big party, so I had such a fun time planning my daughter's first birthday. When I saw Shelley's party for her twin girls on How Does She?, I was head over heels, and knew I had to use her party as inspiration. I am so happy with how everything turned out and can't wait to start planning for next year!

Living in the freezing tundra of Idaho, I decided to have a Steamer Bar to warm everyone up. Steamed milk was in a nice coffee dispenser, with flavored syrups, chocolate, and caramel available for a DIY steamer!
